Quantum Energy has officially launched in NSW with rooftop solar being installed on business premises across all metro and regional areas.
CEO Peter Gardiner says the response from companies wanting to join the Virtual Energy Network has been outstanding.
“Businesses are telling us they want to save money on their power bills by generating clean energy right at their premises. But they also see the community and social benefit in sharing their excess energy back to the network so others can also save money,” he said.
Mr Gardiner said: “Not only are companies decarbonising their operations by switching to clean energy, they also save up to 40 per cent on their energy bills.”
Due to demand, Quantum Energy has a waitlist for companies who want to install solar assets at no cost and join the Virtual Energy Network.
“Currently, Quantum Energy only supplies electricity to business customers located in NSW. You can join as a generator or as a consumer, and even those with existing solar can become members of the Virtual Energy Network,” he said.
“Join the waitlist and be the first to know when we expand to your State.”
